Finely chop the white cabbage.
Quarter the apples and remove the core. Finely chop or grate the apples. I like to use a box grater to grate the apples.
Sprinkle the grated apple with the lemon juice from ½ lemon and put in a large mixing bowl.
Add the Mayonnaise and thoroughly mix together with the grated apple and lemon juice.
Add the finely chopped white cabbage. Mix together all the ingredients.
Adjust the seasoning adding salt, pepper or extra lemon juice as needed.
